1583 new coronavirus cases in Chhattisgarh, 21 deaths

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 1583 newcomers in the last 24 hours in Chhattisgarh. Since then, the number of people infected with the virus in the state has risen to 2,45,580. On Saturday, 178 people were discharged from hospitals after being cleared of infection and 1080 completed home segregation. There have been 21 deaths due to corona virus infection in the state.

State Health Department officials said Saturday that there are 1583 cases of infection. 229 from Raipur district, 128 from Durg, 73 from Rajnandgaon, 90 from Balod, 45 from Bemitra, 49 from Dhamatari by Kabirham, 82 from Balodabazar, 67 from Mahasamund, 38 from Giriabandh, 38 from Bilaspur, 13 from Raigad and 13 from Raigarh. There are nine patients from Marwari, 78 from Surguja, 29 from Korea, 27 from Surajpur, 12 from Balarampur, 12 from Jasapur, 23 from Bastar, 25 from Kondagaon, 25 from Dantewada, seven from Sukma, 26 from Kankar, seven from Bijapur and two from other states.

2,45,580 people have been infected in Chhattisgarh so far, officials said. In the state, 2,23,070 patients are free from infection after treatment and 19,533 patients are undergoing treatment. 2977 virus-infected people have died in the state so far. Coronavirus infection is the highest among 47,602 people in the state’s Raipur district. 670 people have died due to coronavirus infection in the district.
