Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Monday that 18-19 vaccine companies are involved in the preparation of the Kovid-19 vaccine and are in various stages of clinical trials. Addressing reporters, Kovid vaccination will be introduced in the next two to three weeks for people over 50 years of age.
Harsh Vardhan said that 18-20 companies are making Kovid-19 vaccines and they are in different stages of testing. India said vaccines should be supplied to 20-25 countries. Gahavardhan dismissed rumors regarding vaccines and said public vaccines were safe and effective.
He said there were no new cases of Kovid-19 in 188 districts in the last seven days, but no new cases were reported in 21 districts for 21 days. Harsh Vardhan urged people to follow Kovid’s proper behavior.
He said, it is important to follow Kovid’s appropriate behavior, which I call social vaccines, with actual vaccines. India has approved a vaccine developed by Biotech and Oxford – AstraZeneca for emergency use in the country.
