1) – Maruti Vitara Brezza: Vitara Brezza, the popular SUV of the country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki, will also be introduced in a new avatar. The company launched its facelift model last year. Now the company is working on its next generation model. According to media reports, it may be launched in the market this year. It is produced on Suzuki’s Global C-Platform, and the new architecture makes this SUV completely different from the current model. The company can also use the 48V SHVS hybrid system.
2) – Maruti Alto: The company will introduce the best-selling hatchback Alto from Maruti Suzuki. The company is working on the next generation model of the Alto 800 and according to information, it could be introduced to the market this year. One of the main features of the new hatchback is that it will be built on the Heartecht platform. This makes the car lighter and better. However, more information about this upcoming car is yet to be found. The company is expected to use the existing 796cc capacity engine.
3) – Mahindra XUV 500: Mahindra and Mahindra will also be releasing some popular models of the next generation this year. The company may launch the next generation model of its popular vehicle, the XUV500. No official announcement has been made about its launch date but it is believed to be introduced in April. The company will use a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that produces 190bhp of power. At the same time, the diesel variant will have a 2.2 liter capacity mHawk diesel engine. The company may also include some new features and technology in it.
4) – Mahindra Scorpio: One of the company’s best-selling SUVs, the Scorpio, is being worked on in the next generation model. Since last year, this SUV has been identified on several occasions during testing. The company is preparing it on the new Zen-3 platform, on which the recently launched Thor SUV is built. The new SUV is longer than the current model, giving it a better place inside the SUV. The SUV also features features such as sunroof, leather seats and reverse camera. The company can release it with 2.0-liter petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engines.
5) – Tata Nexon: Tata Motors, the country’s largest automaker, will soon be introduced in the new incarnation of the legendary sub-compact SUV Nexon. The company will be introducing this SUV with some new cosmetic changes. It will be built on the Alpha platform, with the introduction of the recently launched Ultraz. There will also be some features found in the section for the first time. It will use 1.5 liter petrol and 1.5 liter turbo diesel engines.
