On this day, on 8 April 2015, PM Narendra Modi launched the Mudra project. 14 lakhs 98000 crores in last 6 years. Under the scheme, 28.68 crore loans were given during the period. According to a report from the Ministry of Finance, Rs 2.66 lakh crore has been disbursed through 4.20 crore loans in 2020-21. About 24 per cent of loans were given to new entrepreneurs.

In the last 6 years, 88 per cent of loans have been disbursed as infant loans. SC, ST and OBC got 51 per cent of the loans. How much and who gets the seal loan

Explain that under the Pradhan Mantra Mudra scheme, infant loans, Kishore loans and Tarun Mudra loans are three types of loans. Under this, loans up to Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh are allowed. Documents required for a loan

To obtain a seal loan from State Bank of India, Identity Card, Residence Proof, Bank Statement, Photograph, Sales Documents, Quotations, Business Identity Card and Address Certificate are required. Current and new units

Loans sanctioned under the Mudra scheme are guaranteed by the credit guarantee to the micro units and are issued by the National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company (NCGTC). Guarantee cover available for up to five years. So the maximum period for loans offered under the Mudra scheme is 60 months. Loans are now available at the Leeds Entrepreneur Ally Portal (www.udyamimitra.in). Branches are accessible to the site with a username and password. Mudra rupee card is issued to all eligible CC accounts from all branches.
