Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s meeting on Wednesday in the presence of Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal is being held to remove the chaos of the new agricultural laws. The government is constantly trying to convince the farmers, but the farmers are not willing to bow down under any circumstances.
Earlier yesterday, the Union Minister had held discussions with farmers after a government meeting and sought to resolve the issue as soon as possible. However, talks with farmers have been indefinite and a fourth round of talks between farmers and the government will be held on December 3 again.

Significantly, thousands of farmers have been trapped for the seventh consecutive day at the entrances of Delhi’s adjacent borders, against the Center’s three new agricultural laws. Farmers are worried that the minimum support price will be abolished by these laws.
Explain that farmers have recently enacted three new agricultural laws – the Producers Trade and Trade (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Price Guarantee and Agricultural Services Act, and the 2020 Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act.
