Step 1: First go to Aadhaar Website www.uidai.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Update Demographic Data Online’ option in the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab.

Step 3: Opens a new tab on your screen. Now click on Procedure to Update Aadhaar.

Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code and click Send OTP. A one-time password will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter OTP and click Submit.

Step 5: Now click on the Update Demographics Data option. Select the name option here.

Step 6: To change the name, you need to upload documents like PAN Card or Passport as proof.

Step 7: After uploading the documents and entering the correct details, you need to pay. Once you make the payment, you get the renewal request number (URN) that you created.

Change your mobile number in Aadhaar like this
Many times our mobile number is lost or for some reason it is disabled. In that case, if you change to a new mobile number, you can also update the new number on the Aadhaar card. To change your mobile number in Aadhaar follow these steps:

Step 1: You should visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center.

Step 2: Fill in the Aadhaar Amendment Form here. Please enter your new mobile number on the form.

Step 3: Submit the form to Aadhaar Executive. You will need to provide your biometrics for authentication.

Step 4: You will also need to pay a fee of Rs 50.

Step 5: You get the Request Number (URN) so that you can check the update status.

Step 6: Your new number will be updated in Aadhaar database within 90 days.
