Aamna Sharif says she was ‘very bad as an actor’ when Kahiin To Hoga started – tv

Amna Sharif became a household name through her first show, Kahin to Hoga, and is still remembered as Kashish (her character). In the early days of acting she thought she was too bad to be an actor.

In a new interview, Amina said she was never in front of the camera except for a few ads, and didn’t know how to go about things. However, producer Ekta Kapoor understood and helped them in workshops.

“Before I did Kahin To Hoga, I did some commercials and it was completely new. I had no idea how the industry would work. I haven’t done any acting courses. I was in college, got a show and I went ahead with it. I was very bad as an actor, performer in the early stages. But Ekta (Kapoor) was very patient with me and did workshops with me because I had zero experience in acting and I started to grow as an actor and everything started to work out, ”he said. After the popularity of Kahin Toh Hoga, Aamna signed her debut film Allu Chat. “Post it was very difficult because there was no one in the industry to guide me. I didn’t even have a manager. So that was a tough phase,” he said, adding that finding the right plan and role was not easy.

Most recently, Kasouti Zindagi appeared in the Kay reboot as the anti-Aamoka Komolika, starring Parth Samathan, Erica Fernandez and Karan Patel. The show aired earlier this month after Parth quit and Ekta was unable to find a replacement.

Aamna will be playing the lead role in Ruhi Afzana starring Rajkummar Rao, Janvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma.
