About 7,000 new coronary cases have reached Maharashtra, with 35 deaths in 24 hours

6971 new coronavirus cases were reported in Maharashtra on Sunday, with the total number of cases crossing the 21 lakh mark. Officials said this is the third day in the state when the number of cases of infection is more than 6000. More than 6,000 cases were reported in the state on Friday, nearly three months later.

35 people infected died on Sunday, after which the death toll rose to 51788, he said. The total number of cases at the same time is 21,00,884. In Mumbai, 921 new cases were reported and six people died. The total number of cases in the city rose to 319128 while the death toll reached 11446.

666 new cases were reported in Amravati There were 599 cases in Nagpur, 640 in Pune, 291 in Pimpri Chinchwad and 103 in U Rangabad. Cases have also been reported in the Mumbai section, including Thane Nagar, Navi Mumbai and Kalyan Dombivali. There are 1678 new cases in the division.

After defeating the infection, 2417 patients were discharged from hospitals, and the number of patients who later became infected reached 1994947. The non-infectious rate in the state is 94.96 per cent and the death rate from infection is 2.47 per cent.
