40,000 security forces have been deployed
Delhi Police has deployed around 40,000 security forces at the national capital. It also includes local police forces to keep surveillance in their areas. At least 12 metro stations in Delhi have been alerted.
Security at the Delhi border
In the wake of Chakka Jam, security has been enhanced at the border of Tikri, Singh and Gazipur, Delhi Police DCP crime chief Chinmay Biswal said. Tight security arrangements have been made within Delhi. The DCP has written to Delhi Metro officials saying that they should be prepared to close all 12 metro stations in the region, including the Union Ministry’s Rajiv Chowk, on short notice if necessary.
A paramilitary force has been deployed
Farmers in Delhi do not make disc jams. While the farmers are yet to announce the blockade in Delhi, the police are fully prepared to deal with any kind of situation. Many layers are barricaded at the border.

Extensive barricading measures have been taken with water vehicles at the Delhi-Gazipur border, which is set to face potential unions from farmer associations.
New Delhi: Extensive barricading measures have been implemented at the Ghazipur border with Vaji artillery vehicles as a precautionary measure to address possible obstacles as a result of ‘chakka jam’ calls made by farmer associations against agricultural laws.
