Amarinder Singh calls an all-party meeting on agitation of farmers, BJP will not join

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh reached the Punjab Bhavan to attend an all-party meeting calling on the peasant movement. It is well known that the BJP (Punjab) will not participate in this all-party meeting.

In a notification issued by the Punjab government in connection with the meeting, it was stated that the meeting will be held at four o’clock in the evening by video conferencing. Its agenda will be released later.

The chief minister invited all political parties to join the meeting to unite the interests of the peasantry and the interests of Punjab and said that the crisis caused by agrarian laws is a matter of concern to the entire state and its people. He said the interests of the peasantry could be protected by the common effort of the Punjabi group and all the political parties in the state to deal with the issue effectively.
