The role of start-up companies in the field of electric mobility is always commendable. On the one hand, while experienced players are busy presenting their vehicles in this segment, startups are also launching their products with new ideas. Now Bangalore-based startup Touche has released its new electric motorcycle, the Helio H100.
Decorated with a very attractive look and a strong battery pack, this electric wheel is introduced in two different tiers. The company claims that its lower-range model delivers a range of up to 60 km on a single charge and a range of up to 80 km. This is a hybrid cycle that comes with a detachable battery which starts at Rs 48,900.
The company has introduced this power cycle in two colors, including Spring Green and Feta White. The bicycle is powered by a 250 W power rear hub electric motor, mounted on the rear wheel. Made of aluminum frame, this bicycle has been tried to keep the weight to a minimum. However, its driving range depends on the pedal assist mode.
Touche claims that three different driving modes were offered during this cycle. You can ride it like a regular bicycle, or ride an electric bike using the throttle provided in the handlebar. With the help of a pedal in electric mode, you can increase its performance. The throttle is provided in its right handlebar.
In addition to launching this powerful power cycle, the company has also begun booking for other models, the M100, M200 and H200. The electric bicycle, which includes a battery, electric motor and bicycle controller, is an 18 month warranty. At the same time, the company is offering a two-year full warranty on the bicycle’s frame.
The electric bicycle manufacturer plans to open more than 75 dealerships nationwide by the end of this year and 200 by the end of 2022. The company is currently expanding its network and currently has its presence in Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi.
