Another powerful bike from the KTM, first seen during the test

Australian bike maker KTM is working on a new model. If reports are to be believed, KTM may soon launch the 990 Duke. Recently this bike was found in Europe during testing. It will be the company’s naked middleweight sports bike. KTM released the first such model in 2018, the KTM 790 Duke.

The engine is strong
The 990 Duke is going to be a brand new model, but its exterior design is pre-marked. The LED headlight unit and some body panels of the bike are the same as the KTM 890 Duke. However, the design of the tank extension is brand new. As the name suggests, it will get a more powerful engine than the 890 Duke.

The bike will also get an updated swingarm and an updated chassis setup. If the reports are to be believed, the company is testing two different suspension setups. In this way, the company will be able to use the 990 Duke’s platform in other models as well.

It is currently being tested in Europe. It is available in two variants – Standard (base) and R trim (top). High-spec variants can get better suspension and lighter parts to enhance performance. In view of the demand for the 790 Duke in India, the 990 Duke can be launched in the Indian market after it is launched in the international market.
