Apple, the world’s leading phone maker, has outperformed its charger with its iPhone 12 series smartphone. According to a report by 9to5Google, Brazilian consumer protection firm Procon-SP has fined Apple 2 million (about Rs 14 crore). The Brazilian agency cited misleading advertising, the sale of devices without chargers, and improper regulations. ProCon-SP reports that the environment has no benefit from Apple’s move.
The agency asked – why not lower the price?
The agency asked Apple in its decision whether the company had reduced the price of the iPhone 12 after the charger was removed. However, there has been no response from Apple. The company did not answer such questions as what was the price of the handset with and without the charger, and the company reduced the charger’s output.

Frustrated with iOS update

Regarding the iOS update, the agency asked, ‘Some users have been saying that there are many issues with the iPhone after updating it, which Apple has not helped. Apple must understand that Brazil has strict consumer protection laws and institutions. Which Apple should respect. ‘

Apple has explained the reason for removing the charger
Tell us that Apple released the iPhone 12 series in October last year. The company surprised people all over the world when they said they didn’t charge with the box. However, the company also cited a major reason behind it. Apple says the company is reducing the e-waste (electronic waste) problem by not providing a charger, which benefits the environment. After Apple, Samsung has also adopted this strategy.
