India’s former bowler Ashish Nehra has praised emerging fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. Ashish likened Siraj to Jasprit Bumrah and said he was not far behind her. He said Siraj is a better bowler than Bumrah in terms of his skill set. Mohammad Siraj’s performance in the tour of Australia was outstanding and he managed to make his mark in the home series against England.

Speaking at the Cricbuzz show, Ashish Nehra said, “A few years ago, Siraj took 5-6 wickets for every match for India-A with the red ball and I always believe the best red ball bowler is the Test bowler. There are some bowlers who will only join you for T20 and Safand Ball cricket. So I think Siraj is every type of bowler. They have no shortage of skills, they have all kinds of differences. If you talk about difference, I’m sure they are ahead of Jasprit Bumrah in terms of skill.

Mohammed Siraj has performed well in the last few years with consistency. Royal Challengers IPL 2021 is playing in Bangalore, but has been in a rush so far.
