Azar recalled together in 1999 World Cup against Pakistan and Kargil War, shared a special video

Former India captain Mohammed Azharuddin shared a video of the 1999 World Cup match against Pakistan on Twitter. With this 2:20 minute video, Azar has written some such things that will win the hearts of every Indian. In fact, the match was played on June 8 at the 1999 World Cup between India and Pakistan. With this match Pakistan won a hat-trick in the Team India World Cup. Pakistan has not won a match against India in the World Cup. Azar tweeted a video saying the match was played until the Kargil war.

Sanjay Manjrekar got angry soon after Ravindra Jadeja’s name said,

“On 8 June 1999 India won a hat-trick in the World Cup against Pakistan. The Old Trafford ground saw a high voltage, low scoring match between India and Pakistan. It was a match at a time when the Kargil War was at its peak. This match is special for us as this win is for our Jawans.

Azhar further wrote, ‘After the good performances of Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, I am happy to have scored a fifty. Following this, Venkatesh Prasad bowled superbly, while Javagal Srinath gave the opening shots to Pakistan. Anil Kumble and Devashish Mohanty also bowled well. There was also the joy of taking two sharp catches in the game. Speaking of the match, India scored 227 runs for the first six wickets. Sachin Tendulkar 45 and Dravid 61 Azhar then scored 59 runs. The entire Pakistan team was reduced to 180 in 45.3 overs. Prasad took five, Srinath three and Anil Kumble two. In this way India won by 47 runs.
