Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and Kushal Bhurtell nominated as IBC Player of the Month

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has nominated Pakistani batsman Babar Azam for the Best Player of the Year award. Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman and Nepal’s batsman Kushal Bhurtell have also been nominated for the awards. The ICC on Wednesday named male and female cricketers the best performers in all forms of international cricket.

Australian cricketers Alyssa Healy, New Zealand’s Megan Scutt and Leah Kasparek have been nominated for the Best Player of the Year award in April. In April, Pakistan captain Babar Azam became the number one batsman in the ICC men’s rankings. He achieved this position by defeating India’s Virat Kohli. Kohli has been an ODI batsman for a long time. In the third ODI against South Africa, Babar Azam won 94 of 94 balls.

Thanks to this innings, he achieved the best ICC ODI rankings (6566 points). Chasing a target in the third T20, he scored 122 off 59 balls against South Africa. Talking about Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman, he scored two centuries in a one-day series against South Africa. The series was won by Pakistan. Chasing a target in the second game, Fakhar Zaman scored 193. Nepal’s Kushal Bhurteel scored 278 runs in the triple series against Netherlands and Malaysia. He has played four out of five games. Nepal has named the TRAI series.

Speaking of female cricketers, Australian Alyssa Healy has scored 155 runs in three one-day internationals against New Zealand. Because of them, Australia won the ODI series and became the highest run scorer for Australia in the series. Australia have won 24 consecutive ODIs.

His other teammate, Megan Scutt, took seven wickets in the series against New Zealand. New Zealand’s Leh Kasparek has played two ODIs against Australia. In the series, he went 46 for 46. He took a total of 9 wickets in the series, taking three wickets in the final.
