The T20 match has been extended by a reduction of the Test match from the upcoming Bangladesh Zimbabwe tour. Initially, the tour was scheduled to play two Tests, three ODIs and two T20s from July 7. Confirming this, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) cricket operations chief Akram Khan said on Tuesday that the decision was made in keeping with the upcoming Kaaka Premier League (DPL).
“We have decided to reduce the one test from the tour and add the T20. We have decided to take some time off from the DPL,” he said. According to future details, if the BCB plans to host the upcoming DPL from May 31, the Bangladesh team will be heading to Zimbabwe on June 29. After completing a rest and practice here, he will play the test in Bulawayo. The visiting team will play a two-day practice match on July 3 and 4 before the Test.
He will play another practice match on July 14, two days before the ODI series. The one-day matches will be held in Harare on July 16, 18 and 20, while the three T20 matches will take place on July 23, 25 and 27 in one place. It is noteworthy that BCB can host Australia and New Zealand for five T20 matches instead of three, so that the Bangladesh team can begin their preparations for the World Cup.
