SBI is very concerned about the safety of its customers. Now if you want to continue to take advantage of the YONO app, you only need to login with your registered mobile number. A registered mobile number is the number linked to your account. If you try to login to the SBI Yono application by any other number, your attempt will fail. Tweeting on behalf of SBI, it is written that ‘SBI Yono app is now only able to login with registered mobile number’.

Financial fraud has increased since the corona epidemic

Due to the corona epidemic, there are more transactions online now than ever before. But because of this the fraud is quite high compared to the previous one. Fintech conducted a survey of 2,000 Indians between June 2020 and April 2021, finding that 34% of them complain about financial fraud. For 25- to 29-year-olds, this figure rises to 41%.

The SBI Yono app has been growing rapidly in the past one year. As of December 2020, the number of users of SBI Yono Et exceeded 32 million. That’s 17 million a year ago. That is, the number of consumers has doubled during the corona epidemic.
