Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the appointment of Assistant Accounting Officer (Bihar Accounting Services) for 138 posts in the Audit Directorate of Finance Department of State Government. The process for applying for these posts will start on April 17 at the official website of bpsc bpsc.bih.nic.in. The application deadline is 15 May 2021. Out of a total of 138 posts, 54 positions are not reserved. 14 EWS, 22 SC, 02 ST, 25 MB, 17 OBC and 4 are reserved for backward classes.
Qualification
Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics and Mathematics. Or
MBA (Finance), CA or ICWA and CS graduates will also be able to apply.
Academic eligibility certificates must be before 15 May 2021.
Age limit
For general category – 21 to 37 and upAge is calculated from Year 1 August 2020.
Candidates of the reserved categories will have the opportunity to relax within the maximum age limit. The maximum age limit for OBC / MBC (male and female) and general category female candidates is 40 years and for state SC and ST (male and female) candidates is 42 years.

Option
Based on preliminary examination, main examination and interview.
The preliminary examination is the subject of General Studies whose questions are Objective Type and Multiple Choice. The exam duration is 2 hours and the total score is 150. The preliminary exam will have a syllabus similar to that of the combined competition test.
Candidates who have succeeded in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. Whose model looks like this –
Candidates who have succeeded in the main exam will be called for an interview which will have 150 marks.
The final merit list will be made by adding marks to the main exam and interview.
