All India Majlis A Ittehadul Musleeman (AIIMIM) has now announced that it will contest elections in Gujarat. For this, the OYC has signed an agreement with the Indian Tribal Party (BTP) of ot otubhai bhai. The BTP is already in the mood for revenge after the betrayal of the Congress in Rajasthan.
A week ago, Asaduddin OYC announced its support for the BTP in Rajasthan. There are ulation rumors that AIMIM’s entry in Rajasthan would kill after Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The party has already announced its entry into the Bengal elections and now Gujarat has a plan in place.
Gujarat tribal leader Chotubhai Vasa has two seats in the BTP’s Rajasthan Assembly. The party has left the Congress due to its alliance with the Congress and the BJP to defeat the BTP candidate in the Dungarpur seat in the Zilla Parishad elections. The two parties worked together to defeat the BTP in three Panchayat Committee seats.
Vasu’s party, the Jagadia seat MLA from Bharuch district, supported Congress candidate Ahmed Patel in the 2017 Rajya Sabha elections and also supported Gehlot during the pilot coup. The BTP has now withdrawn support from the Gehlot government. However, the BTP has supported the BJP candidate in this year’s Gujarat elections.
The BTP, which has two MLAs in Gujarat, has announced that its party is working with the OYC. The two parties will fight together in the local bodies elections to be held in February 2021. “We have come together and we have come together to restore democracy and teach the two opportunist parties (BJP and Congress) together and fight the elections of local bodies,” Oot Thotubhai told the media in Vasa Bharuch.
Congress, which is already in trouble, knows that this is bad news for the Gujarat party.
