Bangalore: RT Nagar police have arrested four accused for stealing expensive bikes, including bullets, and placing counterfeit number plates in outer states.

The arrested were Sheikh Abrar (23), Saifullah Basha (26), Mufidwullah Khan (29) and Atik Hussain (29) from RT Nagar, who were residing at HBR Layout. He was paid Rs 28.3 lakh including 10 Royal Enfield and 3 Pulsar. 20 bikes of value were seized.

At around 5am on September 29, five people were walking in front of the HGH layout of the Ganga city’s Cake Palace. He started running as if he was watching the police. The police chased and caught the three. It is known that when he was interrogated, he was conspiring to rob a lone traveler. Then another accused was arrested.

The main accused, Sheikh Abrar, was working in the medical shop. Saifullah was acquainted with Andhra Pradesh, who went to jail in the case of robbery. Mufidullah Khan gave shelter at his home. The registration numbers of second hand vehicles for sale to the public at OLX were allegedly thrown on a stolen bike. They were taken to Andhra Pradesh and sold for a lower price. Police said the two are yet to be arrested.
