Toyota’s popular 7-seat MPV Toyota Innova Crista will be expensive. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced an increase in the price of the Innova Crysta. The price of the car will be increased by two per cent from next month. Currently, the price of this car starts from Rs 16.52 lakh to Rs 24.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Tata Motors and Tata Motors have also announced price hikes.
Why are prices soaring?
The company will increase the price of the Innova Crysta by two percent with effect from August 1, 2021, Toyota said in a statement. The decision was made due to an increase in vehicle prices due to an increase in cost. Prices for precious metals such as rhodium and palladium have increased significantly over the past one year, the company said. Steel prices also reached record highs during this period.
