Buy this powerful electric scooter for a low cost, massive cost reduction, 116 km on a single charge.

Recently, the Department of Heavy Industries (DHI) made some major amendments to the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Production (FAM II) project. The department has issued a notification under this directive, which will increase the incentives for electric two-wheelers in the country to reduce the cost of vehicles.

According to the department, the subsidy for electric two-wheelers will be Rs 15,000 per kilowatt. The direct impact of this government initiative has also been on the cost of the Ather 450X electric scooter. The company has drastically reduced the cost of this scooter. According to a report published in Express Drives, this electric scooter is available for up to Rs 14,500 after the above modifications to the FAME II project.

What’s New:

As of now, the price of Ather 450X Electric scooter in Delhi is Rs 1,46,926, which includes a previous subsidy with Ether Dot / Portable Charger. With the increased subsidy cut now, the price of this scooter has dropped to Rs 1,32,426 lakh in the national capital. On the other hand, the price in Bangalore, which has so far been Rs 1,59,000, will drop to Rs 1,44,500.

Media reports say the company will soon be updating the new price, though the old price is still shown on the company’s official website Commenting on the subsidy revision of electric two-wheelers, Tarun Mehta, CEO and co-founder of Athar Energy, told the media: “The amendment to the FAME policy, increasing subsidy by 50% per kilowatt is an unprecedented step. Sales of electric two-wheelers have increased despite the epidemic, and with this additional subsidy, we expect sales of electric two-wheelers to increase further. ”

How about the Athar 450X electric scooter?

The scooter comes with a 2.9 kW battery pack. The electric motor used in this scooter produces 6 kW of power and 26 Nm of torque. The scooter is capable of accelerating from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in just 3.41 seconds, the company claims. Its top speed is 80 km / h and after full charge, this scooter is capable of about 116 km / h.
