China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 crashed after a sudden descent on Monday with 132 people aboard a domestic flight in the mountains of South China. Between October 2018 and March 2019, two Boeing 737 Max aircraft were involved in accidents, 346 people were killed, and as a result of these two accidents, the DGCA imposed a ban on the Boeing 737 Max Jet in India in March 2019.

The hopes of finding survivors among the 132 people who were traveling in a crashed Chinese plane in the dense jungles of southern Guangxi province on Monday retreated as night fell. State television showed teams of armed guards armed with search lights through the vast expanses of forests in the remote Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Area as darkness covered the forest.

According to the Aviation Safety Network, China’s last fatal jet crash was in 2010, when 44 people were killed in a plane crash that crashed near Henan Airlines’ Embraer E-190 regional jet Yichun airport.
