‘Thor’ actor Chris Hemsworth shared a picture of filmmaker Taika Waititi on Monday and revealed that the team recently met for the screening of their upcoming film, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’.
Calling the film’s first script meeting “terrific,” the ‘Extraction’ actor can be seen wrapping it in sheets to share a picture of Waititi lying on Instagram.
“Terrific first script meeting for ‘Thor Love and Thunder’ with our fearless hero Taika Waititi,” he wrote in the caption.
Hemsworth went on to talk about how his notes left ‘JoJo Rabbit’, the filmmaker wrapping himself into a “tight cocoon.”
“My notes are so detailed and intense that the only way that Tyka can fully absorb them is to roll herself into a tight cocoon and make endless possibilities of where the film takes us,” she wrote in the caption.
“The shot in the background was equally riveting because of my storytelling prowess. Aktaikawaititi #thorloveandthunder @marvel,” he said.
When ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ was revealed to fans at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, director Taika Waititi confirmed that Thor’s love interest Natalie Portman, Jane Foster, will return to the franchise and run a powerful hammer.
In the Marvel comic books, Jane took a spin as the new female Thor when the original hero was ineligible to hold the magical hammer and hold the title.
The new movie in the ‘Thor’ franchise is set for February 11, 2022.
