Bangalore: Many dignitaries including Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa have condoled the death of music director Rajan.
CM Yeddyurappa, who tweeted about the death of veteran music director Rajan, was deeply saddened. Rajan, who has collaborated with his brother Nagendrappa in the name of ‘Rajan-Nagendra’, has composed many popular and successful Kannada films.
Rajan will always be remembered by hundreds of melodic songs that the painters never forget. I pray for Rajan’s soul. I ask that God grant His family and worshipers the power to inflict pain. The chief minister has condoled Om Shanti.
Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarakiholi condoled the news that Rajan, the veteran music director of Kannada film industry, has passed away. Rajan’s death has led to the death of Rajan, who has composed music for many popular Kannada films. I pray that Rajan’s soul will be restored. The minister said in a condolence note that he prayed to the Lord to give his family members and their music fans a great deal of pain.
Former CM HD Kumaraswamy and former minister CT Ravi have also condoled Rajan’s death.
