After the hike, CNG-PNG is still cheaper than petrol and diesel, according to Metropolitan Gas Limited. MGL said CNG is 67 per cent cheaper than petrol and 47 per cent cheaper than diesel. Similarly, PNG is 35 percent cheaper than LPG.

In the past, CNG and PNG prices have been raised in Delhi. CNG in Delhi is now priced at Rs 43.40 per kg instead of Rs 42.70 per kg. At the same time, the price of PNG rose to Rs 28.41 per unit.
