Maharashtra Congress leader and cabinet minister Yashomati Thakur on Saturday appealed to Maha Vikas Agadi (MVA) leaders to stop commenting on their party leadership if they want a stable government in Maharashtra. Thakur tweeted, “As the Executive President of the Maharashtra Congress, I want to appeal to the MVA colleagues to stop commenting on the Congress if they want a stable government in Maharashtra.
He said in another tweet, “Our leadership is very strong and stable. The formation of the MVA is a result of our strong belief in democratic values.”
As the working president of the MPCC, if I want a stable government in Maharashtra, I must appeal to colleagues in MVA, then stop responding to the Congress leadership. All must follow the basic rules of the union.

His response came after comments from Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, who questioned Rahul Gandhi’s ability to be a leader. Sharad Pawar has said that there are some problems with Rahul Gandhi and there is no stability as a leader. The NCP later clarified that Pawar’s statements were merely suggestions.
NCP leader Mahesh Tapse said in an interview with a news agency, “Whatever Sharad Pawar Sahab says, it should be taken as the advice of the experienced leader’s father. The MVA is a government of all three parties. Saying not to respond.
In Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress MVA government completed one year on November 28. It was formed after the 2019 Assembly elections. The BJP emerged as the single largest party contesting the Shiv Sena in this election. However, differences have arisen between the two parties over the CM post. Dissenters were forced to break the alliance. The Shiv Sena joined hands with the NCP and the Congress to form the government.
In the last year’s Maharashtra assembly elections, the BJP won a maximum of 105 seats and the Shiv Sena has won 56 seats. The NCP won 54 seats and the Congress 44.
