Commenting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to constituents of companies developing the Kovid-19 vaccine, Congress senior leader Anand Sharma said on Sunday that it honors Indian scientists and shows the acceptance of these institutions that have been established for several decades.
Amidst the peasant agitation, Congress chief spokesman Randeep Surjewala had targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, followed by Sharma’s remarks. Sharma appealed to the Prime Minister to ensure an efficient and equitable system as soon as the vaccine is available so that it can strengthen the morale of the frontline Kovid warriors and reassure the nation.
In a tweet Sunday night, senior congressional leaders apologized for the mistake they had previously made in their other tweets, saying: “There are lines out there, so there’s some confusion.” Sharma, in his revised tweet, said: ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s serum organization, Bharat Biotech and YDEdus Cadila are honoring Indian scientists and their work in preparing vaccines for Kovid-19. It is also the honor and acceptance of the institutions that India has developed for several decades with the expertise and ability to make India the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer. The Prime Minister has been requested to ensure efficient and equitable arrangements when vaccines are available. ‘
In a previous tweet, Sharma said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s serum organization, Bharat Biotech and Yd Vidus Cadila are honoring Indian scientists and their work in preparing vaccines for Kovid-19. This will boost the morale of the frontline Kovid warriors and reassure the nation. ‘
“It is a tribute to the institutions India has built for decades with the expertise and capability to make India the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer,” Sharma said. The Prime Minister has been requested to ensure efficient and equitable arrangements when vaccines are available.
Prime Minister Modi on Saturday visited Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune to review the development and production process of the corona virus vaccine. Commenting on the Prime Minister’s visit, Congress chief spokesman Randeep Surjewala said, “Modi Ji is photographing the offices of the companies and millions of farmers are taking to the streets of Delhi.” I wish the Prime Minister could talk to the farmer on the ground instead of the ship.
He alleged that the corona vaccine would find scientists and researchers. Farmers feed the nation. But Modi ji and BJP leaders have done nothing but focus on propaganda. Nowadays, Congress leaders have expressed different views on many issues.
