After getting 295 new corona patients in Delhi on Friday, the total number of infected people here has exceeded 6.31 lakh. With this, the positive rate also fell to 0.44%. According to a health bulletin released by the Delhi government’s Health Department on Friday, 10 patients have also lost their lives in the last 24 hours. The total number of infected persons in Delhi has risen to 631,884, the health department said.

According to official statistics, 293 cases were reported on April 26 in the capital, Delhi. There are now 2,795 active cases of Krona virus infection in the capital, with 2,937 cases reported on Thursday.

A total of 66,921 tests were conducted in Delhi today, the Department of Health said. Of these, 38,990 RTPR / CBNAT / Trunat tests and 27,931 rapid antigen tests were performed.

The vaccination campaign will be launched by LNJP Hospital in a simple ceremony in the presence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Health Minister Satyender Jain.

The 81 sites include six central government hospitals – AIMS, Safdarjung Hospital, RML Hospital, Kalawati Sharan Children’s Hospital and two ESI hospitals.

The remaining 75 centers are in the 11 districts of Delhi, including LNJP Hospital, GTB Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, DDU Hospital and private medical institutions such as Max Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Apollo Hospital and Sir Gangaram Hospital.

A senior official said on Thursday that the Covid-19 vaccine in Oxford will be applied to 75 centers in Cowshield, and Bharat Biotech’s Kovacsin will be applied to the remaining six centers.

Kejriwal said the Delhi government is fully prepared to launch the vaccine from January 16 and more than 8000 health workers will be vaccinated on a scheduled basis in the capital every day.

The Delhi government has so far received 2.74 lakh vaccines from the Center, which is enough for 1.2 lakh health workers. He added that two doses would be given to each person and the central government had given ten percent more to use it in case of an accident like a vaccine bottle breakdown. Vaccines are vacated in Delhi four days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

He hoped that one hundred people would be vaccinated in one place every day and that the people of Delhi and the country would soon get the virus.
