Corona’s rising case again concerns, night curfew in Jalandhar, Punjab

Lockdown until March 8 at Amaravati
Earlier, the lockdown was extended till March 8 in the Amravati district of Maharashtra, while the lockdown was extended to Akola, Akot and Murjitapur. District officials said they would review the situation on March 5 and 6. The decision on whether or not to implement the lockdown in the future will be made.

Lockdown in Tamil Nadu till 31st March
On the last day of February, the Tamil Nadu government decided to lock down the state by March 31. However, no new stringent rules have been enacted in the state, but only under the guidelines of the central government. The administration was directed to take stern action against those who violated corona rules. Police and municipal authorities have been directed to ensure strict adherence to rules in containment zones.

Active cases of corona increase in Maharashtra, Punjab and Karnataka
The total number of infections rose to 1,11,92,088 after 18,327 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in India in the last 24 hours. These are the highest cases of infection after 36 days in the country and, with this, an increase in the number of underrepresented patients for the fourth consecutive day. The number of patients receiving treatment for the infection has now risen to 1,80,304.

According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday, the death toll from the epidemic jumped to 1,57,656, with 108 deaths due to infection. Earlier, on January 29, there were 18,855 cases of infection in 24 hours, but the number of new cases per day was less than 18,000.

The number of infections free has risen to 1,08,54,128 and the national infection rate at the same time is 96.98. Infection mortality was 1.41 per cent. The number of under-treated patients in the country was 1,80,304, which accounted for 1.61 percent of total cases of infection. The number of cases of infection is increasing every day in Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, the ministry said. 82 percent of the cases reported in the last 24 hours were from these states.

On August 7 last year, the number of people infected in the country was 20 lakhs, 30 lakhs on August 23rd and 40 lakhs on September 5th. At the same time, the total number of infections crossed 50 lakhs on September 16th, 60 lakhs on September 28th, 70 lakhs on October 11th, 80 lakhs on October 29th, 90 lakhs on November 20th and one crore on December 19th.

A total of 1,57,656 deaths were reported from the country, including 52,393 from Maharashtra, 12,513 from Tamil Nadu, 12,354 from Karnataka, 10,918 from Delhi, 10,275 from West Bengal, 8,729 from Uttar Pradesh and 7,172 from Andhra Pradesh. More than 70 percent of the deaths are caused by other diseases, the Ministry of Health said. The ministry said on its website that its data is being set up with ICMR.
