Bangalore: The coronavirus continues to rage in the state, with the number of new positive cases crossing the 10,000 mark for the third time. Of the 10,145 new infections reported on Sunday, 7,287 were recovered from the infection and released from the hospital. 67 people have been infected with the virus in the past 24 hours.

With the new cases, the total number of cases in Karnataka has increased to 6,40,661. The total number of cured deaths increased to 5,15,782, with 9,286 Corona related deaths in the state so far. A total of 1,15,574 cases are active. 847 people are receiving treatment in the ICU.

Corona has crossed the 4,000-mark in Bangalore, with 4,340 new cases being detected in the capital on Sunday. With this, the number of infected people in Silicon City has risen to 2,50,040. Of these, 1,92,043 people were cured while 54,929 cases were active and 3,067 people died.
