-1 cup raw mango

-1 small spoon Urad dal
-1 small spoon chana dice
-1 tsp peanuts
-2-3 green chillies
-8-10 Curry
Oil as needed
Salt to taste

Method of preparation of ‘mango rice’
To make ‘mango rice’, first boil the basmati rice. When boiling the rice, remove the madha. This makes the rice bloom. Remember, you don’t need to cook too much rice. After this, peel the mango and grate well. You can use sesame or mustard oil in a skillet to make mango rice.

Heat this oil and add mustard, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves and green chillies and soften it. If you like the taste of asphotida, you can also use asphotida powder in tempering. Now add the grated raw mango and mix well. Now pour this mixture into the cooked rice and mix well. Your mango rice is ready to be served.
