Diesel hits a century in Madhya Pradesh, petrol crosses 100 in Sikkim

Petrol Diesel Price Today: In some parts of Madhya Pradesh, diesel costs Rs 100 per liter. Petrol in Sikkim has also crossed Rs 100 per liter. According to public sector petroleum companies, petrol prices have been hiked by 35 paise per liter and diesel by 18 paise per liter. This is the 34th increase in petrol prices and the 33rd increase in diesel prices in the last two months. Because of this, petrol and diesel prices have reached historic highs in the country.

Sikkim joined the list on Sunday. Petrol now costs Rs 100.15 per liter in Gangtok, the state capital. But diesel costs Rs 91.55 per liter.

In metropolis like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune, petrol already costs Rs 100 per liter. In Delhi and Kolkata, it costs Rs 99 per liter. In some places in Odisha, the most widely used fuel diesel is Rs 100 per liter in Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. On Sunday, it was priced at Rs 100 per liter in Rewa, Shahdol and Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh. Since May 4, petrol prices have been raised 34 times and diesel prices have been increased by 33 times. Petrol costs Rs 9.11 per liter. And diesel at Rs 8.63 per liter.
