Thousands of farmers are marching on the Delhi border in protest against agrarian laws. Today is the 13th day of this movement. Farmers today have declared a ‘Bharat Bandha’ for a day, i.e. Tuesday (December 8). The Bharat Bandh has been called across the country from 11 am to 3 pm today. However, the impact has already begun to show in different parts of the country. In such a situation, Delhi’s roads and traffic are also affected.
Delhi Traffic Police have informed that Tikri, haro Roda border, Dhansa is closed to avoid any trouble. Badusarai is open only to light motor vehicles such as border cars and two-wheelers. In addition, the Hat Tikara border is open only to two-wheeler traffic. Traffic police said that the borders of Daurala, Kapasera, Rajokhari NH8, Bijwasan / Bajghera, Palam Vihar and Dundahera are open to Haryana.

The central government has asked all states and Union Territories to tighten security and ensure peace during the ‘Bharat Bandh’, which was convened on Tuesday by Farmer Organizations and Opposition parties. This information was provided by the authorities. In a nationwide consultation issued by the Union Home Ministry, state governments and central government administrators must ensure that the Kovid-19 guidelines are followed and the social gap is maintained. “Maintain peace and patience and take precautionary measures during the Bharat Bandh so that no unpleasant incidents occur anywhere in the country,” states a Home Ministry official on Monday.
