How to link new mobile number to Aadhaar
When you buy a new SIM card from a mobile phone store, you must provide Aadhaar to provide proof of identity and address.
The operator then scans your fingerprint and checks your Aadhaar.
You will be issued a new SIM card only when the verification process is complete. After this, your SIM card will be activated in about an hour.

How to link Aadhaar to your existing mobile number via OTP
Online method:
For this, first go to the telecom operator’s website.
Now enter the mobile phone number to link to Aadhaar.
After this, the OTP will appear in the number you entered. Enter the OTP and click the Submit button.
Now enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
This is then sent to the telecom operator OTP generation.
After that you will get a consent message related to the e-KYC profile.
Now you have to accept all the terms and conditions and enter the OTP created by the telecom company.
After this you will get a confirmation message about Aadhaar and phone number re-verification.
Offline Method:
Go to your telecom operator’s let plate by taking a ‘self-validated’ copy of your Aadhaar card.
Give your mobile phone number.
Store Executive sends one-time password (OTP) to registered phone number.
Give the Executive OTP for review.
After this, the executive asks for your fingerprint.
This is followed by a confirmation SMS from your operator.
To complete the e-KYC process, write ‘Y’ and reply to the message.

Call toll free number and link your mobile number and Aadhaar
For your 14546 call from your mobile number.

If you are an Indian citizen press 1.
After this you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
Now you have to confirm by pressing 1.
This will then send the OTP (one-time password) to your registered mobile number.
Under the IVR process, you will be asked for information such as mobile number, name and date of birth.

After completing the OTP you can press 1 to complete the verification process.
OTP sent by mobile companies is only valid for 30 minutes.
After this, an Aadhaar verification message will be sent to you.
