Eight of the ten top-value companies have a combined market capitalization of Rs 1.6 lakh crore

The market capitalization of eight of the country’s 10 most valuable companies last week totaled Rs 1,60,408.24 crore. Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Industries were the top gainers in terms of market capitalization (M-cap) amid a rally in the stock markets. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex gained 1,159.57 points, or 2.13 percent. With this boom, the standard index closed a record high of 55,487.79 points above the 55 thousand mark for the first time.

Of the top ten companies, only State Bank of India and Bajaj Finance remained in losses. The M-cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was trading at Rs. 56,133.1 crore, an increase of Rs 12,80,574.59 crore. The company is the top earner in terms of Mcap. The market cap of Reliance Industries rose to Rs 13,59,652.06 crore from Rs 35,310.7 crore.

Infosys’ market capitalization rose to Rs 7,26,419.85 crore from Rs 23,521.63 crore and HDFC Bank’s Rs 8,43,703.53 crore from Rs 17,370.86 crore. The market value of HDFC has increased by Rs 13,304.96 crore to Rs 4,88,217.12 crore and Hindustan Unilever’s price has increased by Rs 7,671.41 crore to Rs 5,64,782.42 crore.

ICICI Bank’s market capitalization stood at Rs 5,321.09 crore. 4,88,352.01 crore and Rs 3,54,482.60 crore from Kotak Mahindra Bank’s Rs 1,774.49 crore. In contrast, Bajaj Finance’s M-cap was Rs. 4,288.54 crore to Rs. 3,71,340.29 crore and the State Bank of India has a market value of Rs. 3,837.58 crore to Rs. 3,84,963.12 crore.

Reliance Industries is at the top in terms of market capitalization. After that, TCAS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, ICICI Bank, HDFC, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance and Kotak Mahindra Bank respectively.
