Emilia Clarke would ‘fight back’ against Game of Thrones makers over Daenerys’ villainous twist: ‘Don’t tell me what to do with my girl’ – tv

Actor Emilia Clarke has given many indications that she is not completely on board with her Game of Thrones role, sending Daenerys Targaryen on the show’s final episode. Daenerys, who transformed into a cold-hearted villain, split the fan base, played by Emilia in all eight episodes of the hit HBO drama.

With the release of the official untold story book, Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon: Game of Thrones and the Epic series, new anecdotes about the show are coming to light. An excerpt shared by WinterSchooling.net reveals that Emilia has been pushed back against some of the decisions made by performers David Benioff and DB Wise.

“Why did you give me that note?” When I am pretty stable I ask ‘How can I help?’ There were some moments where I was like, ‘Don’t tell me what to do with my girl. I know what to do! ‘It’s Daenerys calling card cold expressionless. I always want to fill it with some humanity because no one is constantly like that. I sometimes fight back: ‘I get that she must be a visionary and an unforgiving and powerful force. But she is also a goddamn man at the moment. So I’m going to give it to you and I really pray that you take it in the edit. ”

Emilia, in an interview with The Sunday Times, said: “I knew how I felt [about the ending] When I first read it, and at every turn, I tried not to give too much attention to what other people might say. But I always consider what the fans might think – because we did it for them and they succeeded us, so it’s just polite, isn’t it? “And then continues,” It’s about set pieces. I think the sensational nature of the show probably gave it a greater amount of airtime because it made sense. ”

Talking about Danny’s transformation from a hero to a villain, the actor said, “Yes, I thought of her. I really felt for her. And yes, I was annoyed that John Snow didn’t have to deal with anything? He escaped murder – literally. ”

Game of Thrones concludes its run in 2019 with a poorly received final ತ tu. However, this season, Tivan received 32 nominations at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards, the most for television in history. It won 12, including one of the best drama series.
