Pakistan’s poor performance on the tour of England continues. After the first ODI defeat, the team lost by 52 runs against England’s less experienced side in the second ODI. In the first two matches, the Pakistan team was unable to score even 200 runs. With this win, England took a 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Kamran Akmal, the wicketkeeper-batsman, has been critical of Pakistan’s consecutive defeat. Akmal said the England team was doing well because they did not rely on shortcuts like Pakistan. He praised the England team and the English team is so strong that they can field two international teams at the same time. The wicketkeeper-batsman said that Pakistan should put more effort into the final ODI so that they can get into the T20 series with increased morale.

Akmal said on his YouTube channel, ‘He is very strong mentally because he plays good cricket. They don’t rely on shortcuts. He has not picked a team based on one or two matches. England have benefited from the understanding of the players and their two teams can play at the same time. They have talented players. This is Pakistan’s misfortune. They should put more effort into the last game. He should win the third ODI so that he can improve his mindset in the T20 series. The hosts scored 247 runs in the rain-affected second One Day International and then dismissed Pakistan for 195 in 41 overs. Akmal said that if the whole Pakistan team had 400 matches experience, the whole England team had only 108 matches and despite this, England proved to be better than Pakistan.
The wicket-keeper-batsman said, ‘England did really well. The fielding he did under the leadership of Ben Stokes is amazing. Watching Pakistan, they don’t seem to lose, but they didn’t perform as expected. Our players had more than 400 matches and their entire team had only 108 matches.
