Bangalore: Health Minister B. Sriramulu will hold a meeting with Education Department officials, Kovid task force members and experts on Tuesday.

Speaking after consultations with officials, doctors, technicians and education experts on Tuesday, he said: Thus, the Minister of Education has been asked to advise on three issues: “When can LKG-UKG start in the state, what classes can be started and what kind of cooperation can be expected from the community and the people.”

The Department of Education has already prepared a standard program of action (SOP) on how to start schools with Corona safety in the wake of the central government allowing school to start after 15th. It also requires the approval of the Department of Health and the workforce.

Though the Department of Public Education has prepared for the school, the approval of the Central Government and the Health Department is required. The Home Department has already approved the start of schooling after the 15th.

Additional Head of the Health Department Javed Akhtar suggested that the precautions taken during the SSLC examination in June should also be taken at the time of school commencement “The standardized procedure (SOP) which is in effect during the examination will be revised and given to the Department of Education.”
