After a successful first season, Star Plus is set to release another version of the popular television series Saath Nibhana Saathiya, which is coming up with Season 2. The first season saw its debut in 2010, and after a full ten years, the daily soap is scheduled to hit the small screen. Earlier in August, the makers released a short promo where Devolina Bhattacharya appeared as the leading lady in the pre-season.
The serial has always been a favorite of the viewers and it can be proved that the video of Yashraj Mukhtay, who has recently been a YouTuber, has gone viral, where some of the serial conversations have been edited in a rapping fashion. The video has been viewed several times and the line “Rasod Me Coun Tha” is prevalent. Following the video, a promo was released on the channel, where the makers confirmed the role of “Gopi Bahu”.

The promo features two new faces, Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar, who will be seen in the roles of Gehna and Anant Desai. Apart from them, Rupaul Patel will continue to play the role of his former “Kokila”. The other cast members have not yet been revealed when confirmed. The Indian drama show is produced under Rashmi Sharma Telefilms and is directed by Pawan Kumar and is behind the writing team of Nikita Dhond and Garima Dhimri.
Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2: Release Date and Storyline
Unlike the previous story, different storylines are presented in this season, where the main character, Gehna, is shown as Desai’s niece, who is considered a servant, which her husband, Anant, sometimes supports. The story takes a drastic turn when Modi, a Gopi family played by Devolina, visits his place. Whether they will be able to bring about any change in their erotic minds and free Gehna from being just a maid will be further portrayed.
Saath Nihbana Saathiya Season 2 will be released on Star Plus on October 19 and will air from Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
