Foreign Minister Sgt. Jaishankar said – 25 countries are waiting for ‘Made in India’ vaccine:

Foreign Minister Sgt. India has so far supplied Kovid-19 vaccines to 15 countries and the other 25 countries are waiting for coronavirus manufactured in India, Jaishankar said on Saturday. Three classes of countries are keen to get vaccines from India – poor, price sensitive countries and other countries that contract directly with other companies.

Jaishankar told a press conference: ‘As far as I know, we have already delivered vaccines to 15 countries. The other 25 countries are waiting for the vaccine. But the important thing today is that India has emerged on the world map in this regard.

The foreign minister said that some poor countries are supplying vaccines on a subsidy basis, while some countries want the vaccine manufacturer at the price the government of India offers.

Jaishankar said Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to establish the country as a ‘world pharmacy’.
