The announcement was made after the third phase of coronavirus vaccination was examined on Sunday under the chairmanship of chief minister Nitish Kumar. As such, in November 2020, the Nitish Cabinet approved the free vaccination decision. However, a maximum of Rs 250 will be charged in private hospitals, the central government said. In such a situation, the Nitish government will bear the cost of vaccination in private hospitals.
Simultaneously, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will launch the third phase of the vaccine campaign at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Shaikhpur, Patna on Monday. In this case, the chief minister, two deputy chief ministers and other officials will also take the first dose of the corona vaccine. On Sunday, Health Secretary Supriya Amrit gave this information at a press conference held at the office of the Bihar State Health Committee.
As part of the third phase of the corona vaccination campaign, preparations have been made to deliver vaccines at 1600 vaccination centers in Bihar. Manoj Kumar, executive director of the State Health Committee, said the number of vaccination centers would be gradually increased in connection with the third phase of the vaccination campaign. Vaccination work will begin on March 1 at 700 centers. After this, 1000 immunization centers will be extended till March 15. At the same time, 1200 vaccination centers will be run from March 16 to 31 and 1500 from April 01 to 15. At the same time, vaccination work will be done at 1600 centers from April 16 to 30.
Presenting an Aadhaar card is mandatory for vaccination
According to Executive Director Manoj Kumar, presenting an Aadhaar card is mandatory for vaccination. Any other identification card is only allowed on special occasions. He informed that there are 14,000 trained vaccines available under the general immunization campaign in the state. The deployment of human resources in vaccination centers will be increased according to need. Vaccination centers are assisted by Asha, anganwadi centers helpers and servants and other organizations. They will go to rural areas and provide information on vaccination centers and vaccines.
Four members of the family will be able to register with the mobile number

One person will be vaccinated at the center
The executive director informed that about one hundred people will be vaccinated every day at the vaccination center. The three-room facility will be available at the vaccination center. In the first room, there is a system to check and wait for vaccine registration. The second room will be vaccinated and the vaccinated persons will be monitored for half an hour in the third room. He said all previous protocols regarding corona vaccination were in place.
