The car sales figures for March were up. A total of 3,20,487 passenger trains were sold this month. As usual, Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai are the two largest carmakers in the country in terms of sales. The best-selling Maruti Swift
Maruti Suzuki Swift was the best-selling car in the country in March. It sold 21,714 units. It had sold 20,264 units in the same month last year. Maruti Baleno was the second best-selling car in March. Maruti Baleno has sold a total of 21,217 units. Similarly, Maruti came third with WagonR, which sold a total of 18,757 units in March.

Creta burns in the SUV
Maruti Alto was fourth with 17,401 units sold in March. At the same time, the Hyundai Creta is the best-selling midsize SUV in the country. Hyundai Creta was fifth in the top-10 sales list with 12,640 units sold. In the sixth place, Maruti is the other car with 11,547 units.

The Dzire became the best-selling sedan
Maruti Dzire was the best-selling sedan in March. The car, which was ranked seventh, sold 11,434 units. The eighth-place Maruti Suzuki Vitara Breza is the best-selling sub-compact SUV. It sold 11,274 units in March. The Hyundai Grand i10 ranks ninth and the Hyundai venue is tenth. They sold 11,020 units and 10,722 units respectively.
