Godrej Properties sold a record Rs 6,725 crore, 9,345 homes in 2020-2021

Despite the slowdown in the property market due to the epidemic, realty firm Godrej Properties’ booking sales rose 14 per cent to Rs 6,725 crore last fiscal. In an investor presentation, the Mumbai-based company said its four major markets – Delhi-NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Bengaluru and Pune – made sales worth Rs 1,300 – 1,300 crore.

The company said, “Godrej Properties Limited is one of India’s largest developers in terms of booking value.” Total booking value increased by 14 per cent year-on-year to Rs 6,725 crore in FY2020-21. The residential segment accounted for 62% of the total sales bookings in the commercial projects sector, up from Rs 6,663 crore in the previous fiscal, “the company said.

Godrej Properties has reported a net loss of Rs 189.43 crore for the full financial year 2020-21. 273.94 crore in the previous fiscal. However, the company’s total revenues declined to Rs 1,333.09 crore from Rs 2,914.59 crore in the previous financial year.
