In bullion markets across the country, the price of 24 carat gold on Friday fell by Rs 355 to Rs 47201 and silver dropped by Rs 1141 to Rs 68,379 per kg. This means that before one day on Thursday, the price of gold dropped to 48000, after which silver was traded at Rs 1873. On Thursday, the average price of 24 carat gold dropped from Rs 841 to Rs 47556, while silver was trading at Rs 69520 per kg.
