State-owned telecom company BSNL has waived the installation fee for users who take new broadband or landline connections. These fees are waived for a limited time. BSNL operates the largest broadband business in India. While BSNL’s mobile network business is low, its broadband business is larger than Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. Free Installation Offer from BSNL goes live until August 5, 2021 and valid for 90 days thereafter.

BSNL is eliminating installation fees from these services
BSNL customers have to pay a fee of Rs 250 to get a new landline connection or a new broadband connection on an existing landline. Apart from this, users who are going for a new Bharat Fiber connection will have to pay Rs 500 for installation. As previously reported by Kerala Telecom, this fee will be waived for users from August 5, 2021. This offer lasts 90 days. That is, until November 2, 2021. Note that customers still have to pay fees to get a modem from the company.

If you are planning on 100 Mbps or higher, you should get a dual-band router that supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks. This is not the first time BSNL is offering users the installation at no cost. The company continues to make such offers. BSNL users can get free install on their first month bill.
