What’s the case?
Last night, police executed the funeral of a 20-year-old young woman who died in New Delhi on Tuesday after two weeks of mass rape and torture in Hatras in Uttar Pradesh. The family and relatives of the deceased young woman, who had been shouting at her to leave the funeral, had gathered at her house and the police had performed the funeral at 2.30 pm.

There was an altercation between the young woman’s family and the police. In this regard, the videos went viral on social networking sites. Furious family members, who refused to see their daughter’s face, threw out their outrage by throwing pieces of wood on an ambulance. However, only the police took the carcass and buried it. The young woman’s family wept helplessly.

The video has gone viral nationwide since the incident, with protests loud and clear. On Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi tried to go to Hathras. But the police stopped him and sent him back to Delhi. Even today many organizations have staged protests.
