Hathras victim s parents is not well mother is taken to hospital father declined to go to hospital

The health of the parents of the victim of the Hathras incident in Uttar Pradesh suddenly worsened on Tuesday. The doctors of the health department, who reached the village on information, have sent the victim’s mother to the hospital along with two family members while the father refused to go to the hospital despite ill health. As soon as the information was received, the CMO from the Health Department himself left for the victim’s village. He said that he himself would go and convince the victim’s father for treatment in the hospital.

CMO Brijesh Rathod said on Tuesday morning that it has been reported that the victim’s father is ill. His blood pressure is high. The CMO said that the victim’s father is not ready to go to the hospital, saying there are other problems too. He said that we are going to the village and after reaching the village, I will talk to them myself. The CMO said that those who will be able to treat, will take them to the hospital if necessary.

On the other hand, the CBI team has reached the spot on Tuesday afternoon to investigate the case. Forensic team along with CBI has also come to inspect the scene of the incident. Before the arrival of CBI, Hathras police have cordoned off the scene. However, a heavy police force is deployed on the occasion and common people are not being allowed to go to the scene.

Last rites performed to maintain law and order: DM
On Monday, the family and officials of the victim of the Hathras incident appeared in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court. Family and officers presented their own side in the court. Additional Chief Secretary Home, DGP, ADG Law and Order, DM and SP Hathras were also present in the hearing. On behalf of the DM, it was said that the state government had not given any instructions to the Hathras administration regarding the last rites of the victim. It was the decision of the district and police administration to conduct the last rites at night. This decision was made in view of the immediate law and order situation. The family said that the victim’s body was burnt without her consent.
