All 10 Indian women boxers have won medals at the Asian Championships, but head coach Mohammed Ali Qamar believed that if Kovid-19 were not hampered by his practice, India would have more gold medals. Pooja Rani (75kg) is the only female boxer to win a gold medal from India. The Indian team’s national camp was being held at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi, but was stopped after several cases of Kovid-19 were discovered.
